Repulse Bay during Hong Kong handover 1997

This day, the last day as under British government, we decided to go swimming with Roger at Repulse bay.

On the beach there is a lot of sharks. Quite nice with a shark warning at the beach! But, they had long nets protecting the beach so it was considered safe to swim.

One of the main building estates at Repulse Bay. This is probably the most exclusive one.

Some more budget oriented flats. They go for at least $1 M USD each (1997).

The area is quite beautiful with the beachfront, the narrow road and the high sky scrapers.

At the beach. Click here for a large view of the Ocean! Or, check out the beach in a full size view.

Mia liked the swimming a lot. Surprisingly, there weren't many other people out this day, despite having vacation. I thought the swimming here was really good, nice temperature on both the beach and in the water. And a great view!

Very well organized, some nurses prepared to take care of swimmers who have met shark.

Mia's first Dim Sum experience

While in Hong Kong you have to eat Dim Sum. So, Roger and I took Mia to the Chinese restaurant in the Repulse bay complex. They served delicious dim sum and Mia liked it1

Using the Chop sticks!

This is a lot better than eating snake.

A really nice parking lot. They even have a small water fountain in the parking garage!
